In this position you will be responsible for full life-cycle development of web and desktop applications using the latest .Net technologies and SQL Server 2005. You will take part in all aspects of the design and development of our unique customer facing web applications and internal business applications; these include Blogs, Content Management Systems, E-Commerce Store Fronts, Bulletin Boards, Editorial Web Sites, Job Boards and many supporting applications. You will be involved in all aspects of the of the interface, business objects and database design, all while working with a highly experienced team of Programmers, Designers, Architects and Database Professionals.  We are looking for Developers that want to work in a dynamic results oriented environment where their superior performance will be will be recognized and rewarded.  Responsibilities: Design and program object-oriented web and desktop applications using relational databases Act as a consultant: meet with managers and other employees to gather requirements for new applications or additional features in existing applications Through collaboration with fellow team members, evaluate existing programming structure, gather requirements and formulate a detailed plan to follow for project completion Develop the final code structure and user interface for projects, using flexible, reusable object-oriented design Manage, deploy and troubleshoot applications Coordinate the documentation and user training of new applications and features  Requirements: A four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent education through actual work experience. A minimum of three years of software development experience in VB6 or VB.NET. A minimum of one year of .NET development experience preferred. Experience in database design and SQL. Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in SQL Server 2005 and its development tools is a plus but experience with other Database applications will be considered.
