National Account Executive-Insurance/Marketing

Location: Chicago, ILRelocation Provided: NoEducation Required: Bachelors DegreeExperience Required: At least 3 yearsPosition Description:BASIC FUNCTION:This position is responsible for managing, planning and implementing block of existing accounts to meet specified targets. Cultivates relationships, identifies sales opportunities and service accounts to expand the business and meet corporate and divisional sales/renewal objectives. This position works closely with the assigned Major/National Strategic Account Executive as the primary project manager to develop tactical plans to execute the account strategy developed by the assigned Major/National Strategic Account Executive. This position works on moderate to highly complex accounts.JOB REQUIREMENTS:1) Bachelors Degree and 3 years experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field OR 7 years experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field; 2) State General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license or obtain General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license within required time frame per state regulations; 3) Experience presenting in front of a small audience; 4)Experience taking and leading a small team on a task or project; 5) Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; 6) Problem solving skills; 7) Project management skillsPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:1) Bachelors Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, HealthCare Administration or Finance; 2) Knowledge of HCSC products, services, and processes, including rating and funding; 3) Knowledge of basic HCSC systems knowledge (BlueCHIP, BlueSTAR, Accums, CRM, contact management, MS Office suite, etc.); 4) Knowledge of basic competitor and industry trends, including legislative and regulatory.
