National Sales Representative
Since 1996, the healthcare research and technology professionals at OHIS have been defining and refining the business of acquiring health information. Today, Outcomes is the nation’s largest full-service firm dedicated exclusively to the acquisition, management and use of health information. We provide Payment Integrity Auditing, Health Outcomes Improvement Services (including HEDIS® and other retrospective and prospective health outcomes studies), Health Advocacy Programs (chronic condition and disease management support), and a full suite of health information technology services (ODIS iTools™).
We are seeking a highly-motivated, energetic, results-oriented individual looking to join our sales team in our Norcross, GA office. This sales position is responsible for lead generation, sales presentations, product demonstration, quoting, closing and contract management for sales to hospitals, medical groups, health plans, and other organizations in need of our services. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the health care industry from a payment, disease/case management, retrospective review and/or health care quality perspective, and have the ability to cross sell our services across all Outcomes business segments; Payment Integrity Auditing, Health Outcomes Improvement, Health Advocacy Programs and ODISä Health Information Technology.
Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume and achieve account penetration on a national basis;Generate new business opportunities;Develop and maintain a steady pipeline of new prospects;Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of Outcomes and competitive products; andPlan, coordinate and attend conferences, maximizing networking and sales opportunities.
Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in Business Administration or a business related discipline and at least two years of sales experience in the health care services industry;Demonstrated business to business direct field selling success, and a demonstrated ability to achieve goals independently;Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales quotas;Sales experience selling services to hospitals, medical groups, health plans, and other organizations in the health care industry; andDemonstrated strategic and team selling skills in customer presentations, price quoting, product demonstration, negotiation and closing.
General QualificationsAbility to follow through on action items and close new business;Ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships;Proven time management skills;Ability to understand technical problems;Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as on a team;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and Strong work ethic.
