Network Development Specialist

Responsible for providing training and technical assistance to the DBH/MRS  provider community; develops educational material and conducts both onsite and offsite trainings; analyzes operational systems and procedures of providers to identify areas for improvement; assists providers around budgeting issues, state application process and adherence to city contracting rules.  BA/BS and MA/MS in clinical behavioral health or closely related field; four (4) years minimum experience in assessment and/or counseling within an adult or child/adolescent behavioral health setting.  Must have knowledge of medical necessity criteria, PCPC, the authorization process, Medical Assistance Regulations, Provider Types and MA I.D. numbers, the DBH/MRS and DHS and their related processes. Must have excellent analytical, writing and oral communication skills. And be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.  Must have a current, valid PA Driver’s License, and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report, and own transportation.
