Description: - 2-5 years experience of Desktop/Network/Desk side Support- Responsible for support of user desktops and applicationsImplement systems, servers, policies, and procedures to continue to improve user experience.Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Products.Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory technology, the Windows Registry and Terminal Services.Strong Hardware and Software troubleshooting skillsStrong Communication & Written SkillsAbility to perform tasks with little to no supervision. Remote Desktop Support & Traveling WSH Windows scriptingDuties and Responsibilities:We are looking for someone who has 2-5 years experience of desktop/desk side support. This individual should be well versed in both Hardware and Software issues and resolutions. The candidate should know how to build a computer from scratch. Candidates should know all computer components and types of hard drives. Candidates should know what "out of range" means if they are changing out LCD screens and how to troubleshoot it. Candidates should know about SAFEMODE and ping command. Must have extensive knowledge of laptops and desktop, CPUs, processors, video and printer components. Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot most desktop problems either over the phone or in person without assistance. There is some Server and Network Support involved with the position. Candidate should be able to troubleshoot network connectivity issues. Candidate will have to be responsible for implementation of Network Shares and Printers with Security groups. Candidate should be able to rebuild/build a Windows 2000/2003 Server.Will train on homegrown application and in-house hardware configuration. Degree in Computer field preferred or equivalent experience.
