Health care Provider Recruiter-Special Requests

Primary Responsibilities

Working within tight time frames to meet special requests for additional or specific providers to be added to the network, this position will: Identify and recruit behavioral health providers for ad hoc contracting and possible participation in ComPsych's professional provider network. Negotiate rates, complete credentialing, and finalize appropriate contract for immediate access by our client. Work closely with ComPsych's clinical team to ensure a successful experience for the client. Acquire various other provider relations skill sets to provide cross-trained support for the department as needed.

Job QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of  health care or insurance experience preferred Knowledge of provider contracting strongly preferred Strong internet research skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access  Able to work independently Able to prioritize and problem solve and demonstrate a sense of urgency Superior customer service and follow-up skills  Excellent organizational skills Experience running reports and analyzing data  Stable work history required

Credentialing SpecialistPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Review and log in for completion all credentialing/recredentialing files submitted to ComPsych Contact providers, by phone or mail, to request missing information Complete credentialing/recredentialing process on submitted files within designated timeframes Identify appropriate 'red flag' files and route file for resolution Perform queries on designated providers to obtain written reports and review for incidents within designated timeframes Ensure that credentialing practices meet national standards and client expectations

 JOB QUALIFICATIONS Previous data entry experience preferred Ability to multi-task Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills Superior communication skills Healthcare/credentialing experience desired Stable work history required
