JOB SUMMARY: Performs Neurodiagnostic testing to the patient population served neonatal through geriatric, in and out patient and on a emergency basis as needed. Evaluates and ensures the technical quality and timeliness of testing are within guideline standards. Testing includes: EEG,EP, EMG/NCV, LTVM, and Conscious Sedation procedures routine and portable. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff orientation and training. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction. Required to participate in "on-call" rotation as determined per department needs. May be required to go to another facility to help with the patient load or vacation schedules. Performs duties and responsibilities without direct supervision. Assist junior staff members.^ JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year formal training in Neurodiagnostics.Experience: 5 years or more of END experience .Training: EEG,EP LTVM,EMG/NCV, AND Conscious Sedation procedures. Neonatal to Geriatric age groups.License: R.EEG preferred but eligibility acceptableOther: Typing,filing, of reports, ordering of supplies, phone skills, and customer satisfaction.
