Operates Scintillation detection equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses. Follows rules and regulations set forth by the NRC and the standards of the JCAHO. It is expected that all of the duties and responsibilities of this position will be performed in a manner that reflects the values of Alliance Imaging and its clients.

Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB. Current CPR Certification is required. Experience with a variety of Nuclear Medicine computers and state-of-the-art gamma cameras preferred; experience with mobile imaging systems may be desired.
