We are currently seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in expanding skills in a team leader role while working for a company that gives back to the community. This position serves as a clinical liaison between the team, internal and external customers.  Responsibilities include supervising professional staff within the healthcare team, assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating case management strategies in an acute and chronic managed care environment.  Care coordination responsibility encompasses working directly with members, families and providers over time to assist in arranging and managing a complex set of resources required to maintain health and function.  

 

Requirements:Registered Nurse degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or may substitute combination of relevant education or experience. Current unrestricted Colorado Registered Nurse LicenseKnowledge of managed care, case management and/or care coordination  Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization (time management) skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities General computer skills with working knowledge of word processing and spread sheets, within Microsoft Office  Valid Colorado Drivers License 

 

Experience:3 years of clinical, case management and healthcare experience with acute care experience Supervisory experience preferredExperience working with Medicare and Medicaid populations and related social/economic issues preferred
