Nurse Case Manager - Worker's Compensation

Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. (CCMSI), a leading Third Party Administrator in self-insurance services headquartered in Danville, IL, is seeking a Nurse Case Manager for Workers’ Compensation for the Albuquerque, NM office. 

 

Primary duties include responsibility for several accounts for their overall management.  Will provide approvals/denials based upon recommendations on the medical director and/or reviewers.   

 

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

 

- Licensed RN in the state of New Mexico

- Thorough understanding of medical terminology, technology and procedures a must. 

- General knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation process a plus

- Knowledge of common software programs such as Microsoft Office

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong decision making and organizational skills

- Ability to perform processing duties with minimal supervision

- Detail oriented and flexible 

- Professional demeanor a must

- College Degree preferred

- Ability to work as a team
