Nurse Consultant AND Nurse AND Registered Nurse

UHS-Pruitt Corporation is seeking an Executive Director of Clinical Services to join our team of Long Term Care professionals.

Responsible for ensuring clinical auditing and consulting services are provided as contracted to Health Care Centers in 4 southeastern states.



Responsible for promoting and achieving positive clinical and regulatory outcomes in Health Care Centers, utilizing Performance Improvement structures, processes and root cause analysis techniques.



Responsible to oversee, coordinate and monitor the performance and duties of the following UCS partners:

HCC Senior Nurse Consultant (s)Lift Transfer Consultant (s)Senior Care Partner Consultant (s)Dietary Coordinator and Consultant (s)Quality of Life Consultant (s)Post Acute Care Coordinator (s)Skin Integrity Consultant (s)





Responsible for collaborating, assisting and reporting clinical service duties and outcomes to Health Care Center operations and other members of the organization’s leadership. Supports collaborative team structures, customer service practices and departmental/organizational transparency.



Responsible for maintaining and delivering the above within approved budgetary requirements.



Qualifications and Licenses Required:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.



Current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in good standing.



Five years professional nursing experience in the Long Term Care setting. A minimum of three year’s experience as a nurse consultant for multiple health care centers.



Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State Regulatory Requirements for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and MR/DD institutions. Supportive history of developing and implementing regulatory Plans of Corrections and participation in regulatory refutement/appeal process.



Knowledge and understanding of Performance Improvement processes, structures and outcome measurements for Long Term Care. Ability to conduct root cause analysis as indicated and/or directed.



Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of computer programs i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point a plus but not required.



Previous utilization of LTCQ, Smart Charting, Care Tracker, MyInnerview and other long term care computer and/or web-based programs a plus but not required.



Must be willing and flexible to travel for extended periods of time.



Freedom from illegal use of drugs and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.



Have not been found guilty by a court of law for abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting.



Satisfactory results of a criminal background check, OIG sanction check and satisfactory license Validations.
