The hospital continues to meet the needs of the underserved members of the community through a comprehensive network of 65 clinics In this role, you will serve as an educator, facilitator, clinical role model and change agent. Working collaboratively with other nursing leaders, you will analyze needs and then develop, implement and evaluate programs/curricula for orientation program, staff development, continuing education and performance improvement for the Neuro Service areas.To qualify, you must have a current NYS RN License, MSN, and 5 years of clinical experience in the Medical/Surgical/Neuro specialty. You must possess strong critical thinking skills, a high degree of energy, strong planning and prioritizing skills, a systematic approach to problem solving, and demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities. The following are all considered assets in applying for this opportunity: previous teaching experience, strong knowledge of JCAHO and regulatory standards.
