Nurse Manager- Children's Services

Requirements: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with current Wisconsin License. Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field required. Five years in Pediatrics and/or NICU nursing experience required with evidence of progressive leadership responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and clinical expertise is required. Most possess demonstrated management and leadership abilities.Description: The clinical manager is responsible for activities within assigned areas of responsibility, including serving as a leader, role model, and change agent within the Pediatric and NICU units. Builds and maintains effective unit-based teams and promotes teamwork across patient care units and across departmental boundaries. Manager is responsible for area with a minimum of 30 beds or specialty area. This manager also creates, maintains, and promotes a professional practice environment at the unit level which is consistent with the vision and philosophy for professional practice of the Patient Care Services Division.
