Nurse Manager, Oncology (RN)

A 500 bed teaching hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for their oncology unit.

 

The Manager will oversee a 30 bed in-patient unit and a 15-chair outpatient ambulatory clinic.  There are 55 FTEs including 6 direct reports.  The focus of care is Chemotherapy driven and the acuity is high.  There has been constant growth and the need is to continue growing the service line through system performance enhancement and team education projects. 

 

Position Requirements:

·  Licensed Registered Nurse with the ability to gain Maryland licensure

·  BSN

·  3+ years management experience

·  Oncology experience

·  OCN certification preferred
