Nurse Manager, Rehab (RN)

A university based hospital is seeking a Rehab Nurse Manager for a 75-80 bed Med/Surg unit.  The manager will oversee 90+ FTEs including 3 direct reports.  We are looking for a strong leader with a strong sense of team building.  The patient type is a mix of traumatic brain injury and complex Med/Surg conditions.

 

Requirements:

* Licensed RN with the ability to gain Maryland licensure

* BSN

* 3+ years management experience in Med/Surg

* Rehab and CARF experience a plus

* Strong management, team building, and business skills

This long term care hospital is part of a large university based health system.  The hospital serves a unique group of patients that require some of the most complex, interdisciplinary medical care available.  The facility provides specialized care services to patients who are critically ill, have multiple complications and/or failures that require continued hospitalization beyond the acute care setting.
