Company: Children's Hospital Boston Location: US-MA-Boston Status: Part Time, Employee Job Category: Medical/Health Exciting part time opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a busy Pediatric Surgical Clinic.Perform complete health history and physical exam and interpret the findings in the surgical clinic as well as in the preoperative clinic; Plan, implement, and evaluate the treatment in an interdisciplinary manner in collaboration with physician, inpatient nurse practitioner colleagues and house staffParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings of complex surgical patients; order and interpret diagnostic studies and therapeutic interventions necessary to augment the patient's physical findings and treatment planEngage in health teaching and counseling with the patient and their family in collaboration with the health care teamParticipate in informal and formal teaching opportunities and conferences with interdisciplinary team members including residents, fellows, staff nurses.
