Nurse Practitioner - Vascular Surgery

Located on the University of Maryland at Baltimore campus, near Camden Yards and Harbor attractions, University Physicians, Inc. (UPI) coordinates and supports the clinical activities of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. We employ over 900 non-physician staff who support the clinical practices of our faculty.

The Department of Surgery is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner for the Vascular Surgery division.

Duties will include: working both independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary vascular specialists interacting with a non-invasive vascular laboratory performing physical examinations and preventive health measures ordering, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic tests recording physical findings and formulating plans and prognosis, based on the patient's condition prescribing or recommending medications or other forms of treatment discussing cases with physicians and other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants will possess: a Master's degree with completion of a primary care Nurse Practitioner program current Maryland RN licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure 3-5 years practical experience.
