Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant

Mid-level Provider F/T-  needed for busy internalmedicine practice in mid-Michigan.  Will consider recentgraduate.  Applicant must be licensed to practice in the State ofMichigan and certified by the appropriate national credentialingagency.  Prospective employee should be personable and able towork independantly to treat patients.  Our patient population isapprox. 55% medicare, 25% blue cross/ BCN and the remainder is otherprivate carriers (only a very small percentage of Medicaid). Candidate must be familiar with treatment of adults with diabetes,hypertension, hyperlipidemia, djd etc.  Successful candidate musthave the skills to review test results, consults and make judgements asto proper treatment of patients.  Many of our patients presentwith a multitude of diseases and this leads to some complicatedcases.  We also provide medical services at Mid-Michigan RegionalMedical Center in Midland.

Midland is located approx. 100 miles north of Detroit.  This cityis blessed with a multitude of cultural activites and sportingevents.  The large employers in our area are Dow Corning and DowChemical (both have their corporate headquarters here).  There isa culturally diverse population due to the influence of theseemployers.  Also, Midland is home to the Great Lakes Loonsbaseball team ( a farm club for the Los Angeles Dodgers).
