Nurse / RN, Post Anesthesia Care Unit ( PACU )

Department Overview The PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Unit - monitors patients and provides care after they have had surgery. Position Summary Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process.  Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  Current Minnesota RN licensure.  Current BLS certification.  Must have 1 year of PICU, PACU, ICU, or Level III Nursery within the last 3 years.  PALS certification within one year of hire.
