Nurse Recruiter - Exp Recruiting in Hospital / Healthcare Staffing

Academy Medical Services is one of Ohio’s most experienced medical staffing companies and a leading provider of medical staffing services since 1968.  Academy Medical Services is Joint Commission Certified and is endorsed by the Columbus Medical Association.  We are currently seeking a motivated full-time Nurse Recruiter for our Columbus, Ohio location.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities

o The recruiter will be an individual that can 'think out of the box” with great social skills and a winning attitude.

o The recruiter will be proactive in achieving placement goals.

o The recruiter will coordinate recruitment efforts directed toward identifying nurses for several prestigious health care facilities in Ohio.

o The recruiter is responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing and referring qualified candidates to respective hiring departments.

o Targeting the best qualified candidates, this recruiter will develop strategies and perks to attract and retain staff as well as provide support to new hires.

 

Requirements

o Minimum of 3 years experience recruiting in hospital or healthcare staffing industry

o Excellent sales skills

o Excellent customer service and communication skills

o Experience with per diem and/or travel staffing preferred

 

The qualified candidate should be able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and is flexible in setting priorities. Possesses substantial interpersonal communications skills (written and verbal), is computer literate and is familiar with Microsoft applications.
