The Nursing Supervisor represents hospital Administration and as such serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team and is invested with the authority of the same on the assigned shift. Responsible to coordinate and evaluate management and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center. EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: BA/BS degree. Current New Jersey Licensure or eligibility for Licensure. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT/SKILLS: Personal computer, CRT, Patient Care Equipment WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS: Patient Care areas WORK CONTACT GROUP: Co-workers, department heads, interdepartmental workers and physicians, patients, family members, visitors and EMS. SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must meet requirements of the ADA (attached). Can be physically and emotionally demanding.
