Current RN licensure in the State of Texas.  Minimum 3 to 5 years Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.  CPR and ACLS required.  Requirements will include successful completion of orientation checklist, pharmacology exam, and skills / credentials / competency requirements of specific unit.  Ability to accept responsibility and accountability to prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care provided on assigned units as required with leadership qualities.

Skills: Requires ability to function in stressful situations. Management and supervisory delegation skills.  Manages and supervises the clinical activities and personnel on an established schedule.  Assures quality nursing care of patients and fills education, consultant, and liaison roles within nursing and for other departments.
