Occupational Health RN Regional Manager and Senior Occupational RN
Occupational Health RN Regional Manager: Permanent position for experienced Health Services Manager RN. Manages all facets of medical activities for Houston, Tulsa, Non-Refining Operations and Asphalt employees. Directs, evaluates and administers medical care for occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries. Directs and monitors employee diagnostic screening or physicals. Manages health awareness and drug screening programs. Ensures compliance and documentation with all regulatory guidelines including OSHA, DOT, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, various state workers compensation statutes and nurse practice acts. Develops and updates medical protocol and directives. Has knowledge of company standards, federally mandated exams and regulatory agencies to ascertain the fitness of an employee to perform job duties. Maintains inventory for medications, supplies, and equipment consistent with the needs of health programs and emergency responses. Serves as liason with community agencies, EAP, physicians, local clinics, medical review officers and SAMI. Provides supports as subject matter expert to IH, Safety, Risk Management, HR, Benefits, Payroll, Legal, business unit management and other health services staff. Analyzes risks and negative trends and implements programs to protect employee health.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree. Certification in Occupational Health Nursing and RN license in 6 staes with highest employee populations (employer assisted), trained and certified per DOT standards for urine drug screen collections and breath alcohol screening, certified in hearing conservation.
10 years minimum job related experience required.
Senior Occupational Health RN:Permanent position. Responsible for performing quality occupational health care within the scope of professional nursing. Has knowledge of company standards, federally mandated exams and regulatory agencies to as certain fitness of an employee to perform job duties. Coordinates and implements occupational health programs and health assets for employees.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Required. Must be licensed in State of Texas and have current CPR/AED certification. Certified Occupational Health Nurse is desired. Audiometric Certification preferred. Spirometry Certification preferred. Breath Alcohol Certification Preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Must have ability to work toward assigned goals without supervision.
Must have a MINIMUM of 2-5 years of job related experience as an Occupational Health Nurse.
