Position Profile

New positions due to growth!  Valley Medical Center saw a 44% increase in patient volume last year and have created new positions to meet this need!  Current positions  include full-time, part-time and per diem.  We have OT’s in our out-patient clinics and in Children’s Therapy.   Our patient’s expectations of us are very high so we continually strive to provide excellent care. 

 

About the Rehab Unit

Our team is strong, and the average person has been here a little over three years, one as long as 15 years!  The staff say, "We came to Valley for a variety of reasons, most commonly: professional development track, state of the art equipment with lots of space to treat patients, free parking, proximity to home, and personal and professional recommendations. As part of the Stroke Center, we were instrumental in receiving the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), one of only a handful of such certified centers in Washington State.  We are very proud of this! The Joint Replacement Center, listed as a Center of Excellence from JCAHO as a Disease Specific Accredited Center and HealthGrades, has designated VMC Joint Replacement Center as Joint Surgery Excellence 2007.
