About Our FacilityWe are a 60 bed rehab facility budgeted to maintain census at 40. We operate in teams with a PT, OT, SP and nurse by physician. Each team has a variety of diagnosis. Of 93 hospitals in the United States we consistently clinically rank in the top 10. We are committed to the clinical growth of our clinicians. Our therapists are allocated approx. one thousand dollars of clinical education per year. Every therapist at our facility is offered advanced training in the treatment of patients with CVA¿s, Spinal Cord Injuries, Brain Injuries or Orthopedics. 60% of our patients are from the CMS 13 Categories, the remaining patients are pulmonary, ortho, cardiac and general deconditioned patients. Our facility outcomes are fabulous. 80% of our patients are discharged to the community. Job DescriptionThe Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) evaluates a patient¿s physical, cognitive and perceptual functional capacities and provides goal-directed, activity oriented maintenance of his/her optimum level of independence in daily life tasks. The OTR supervises/provides occupational therapy services to patients currently for inpatient and outpatient ranging in age from new born to 100+ years of age. The OTR supervises supportive personnel and participates actively in departmental activities and processes.
