Occupational Therapist - Inpatient

UMass Memorial Medical Center is the award-wining clinical partner to the University of Massachusetts Medical School and part of the largest non-profit health care system in Central and Western Massachusetts. We are a 783-bed facility spanning three campuses and provide the region with specialists renowned for their work in areas such as cancer, cardiology, emergency medicine, children's medical services including an internationally recognized newborn intensive care unit, and women's health.

 

Occupational Therapists – Inpatient FT/PT/Per Diem

 

UMass Memorial Medical Center currently has openings for Occupational Therapist professionals who would enjoy working in a fast paced, inpatient acute care environment. Our Memorial campus is home to the Musculoskeletal Center for Excellence which is nationally known  for  state of the art total joint and spine surgeries. Therapists have the opportunity to experience a mixed case load such as Orthopedics, Oncology, Surgery and Medicine. Our Occupational Therapists are a vital member of the interdisciplinary teams and have the opportunity to collaborate on departmental and organizational wide patient focused projects.

 

UMass Memorial fosters an environment of professional growth and development by offering staff a clinical career ladder. The  Level II Clinical Therapist position requires leadership skills, clinical specialty program development and a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. The Level I Clinical Therapist position requires 0-2 years experience and the desire to commit to excellence in patient care.

 

We offer comprehensive orientation and mentoring, loan repayment/enhanced tuition assistance, or $1k per year for continuing education programs and involvement in your professional Occupational Therapy association. New grads are also eligible for a $10k tuition remission bonus.

 

Note: US Residents only. Salary is based on years of experience working as a licensed Occupational Therapist. Monthly weekend rotation coverage will be required.
