Assumes responsibilities for filing, booking of appointments, calling to confirm appointments, photocopying, faxing, and mailing of reports. Oversees maintenance supplies and inventory notifying coordinator when supplies are needed. High school graduate or GED. Ability to perform and coordinate a variety of detailed and complex duties. Interpersonal skills necessary to handle multiple telephone lines, and to interact daily with patients, medical staff, visitors, physician office staff, other departments, coworkers, department staff, and members of the healthcare team in a tactful and courteous manner, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
