On-site Operations Support Specialist

This position is located at client site in the Oakland Area, pittsburgh, PA
Summary:
This position will be in a key role working to build and maintain the relationship with Spheris and a key customer. This person will oversee and facilitate resolution of customer issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. They will build relationships with key physicians and middle management (HIM Director Level), and demonstrate in-depth understanding of the organizational and operational structure of Spheris and the customer.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include understanding all of the platform/s and work processes with specific attention to priority, TAT, Quality, and Process Improvements.
Revise/Research/Edit reports on both demographic and textual information in Clarity platform. Training will be provided within our corporate environment in addition to on site support.
Responsible for facilitating issue resolution, concerns, and requests between the client and Spheris including but not limited to
-User administration
-Focus Audits
-Facilitate/coordinate application training as available or necessary
-Reporting/Metrics
-Billing
-Support Requests including technical issues
-Stay informed with Spheris strategic direction in order to position Spheris as a key business partner. Collaborates with client, Account Manager, and Management to assist in improving and/or retaining the clients business.
-Maintaining databases on specific tasks, missing standards, addendum, merges and or headings, reconverts.
-Perform all other duties assigned and/or approved by Spheris
Decision-Making:
-Prioritizing and monitoring daily tasks within the workflow with the ability to evaluate for process improvement
-Document, report and escalate client issues for prompt resolution including identification of repeat problems
Job Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
-Two years experience interfacing directly with physicians and medical community in an administrative role
-Prefer technology understanding in a healthcare environment
-Experience revising/editing medical documents preferred
Knowledge / Skills:
This position requires a standard knowledge of Microsoft office, Windows XP applications. This position also requires excellent interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills, and oral and written communications skills. Medical terminology is preferred. Requires ability to type approximately 40+ words per minute
Requirements:
Must be able to work a flexible shift of 8:30-5:00pm including some holidays.Possibility of travel to TN corporate office for training.
Compensation: $15.00 to $18.00 an hour
