Corporate growth has created a need for us to hire a new Onsite Concurrent Review Nurse to focus on PEDS/NICU concurrent review in the Arizona market. The chosen candidate would work with patients and medical providers to determine the appropriateness of various types of medical care.Key responsibilities include: Using Milliman and Robertson (M&R) criteria to evaluate appropriateness of care Performing onsite concurrent reviews Maintaining ongoing contact with physicians to obtain accurate patient data and clarify diagnoses Communicating care decisions to physicians and case managers Helping to develop the Concurrent Review Orientation ProgramOnly RNs with current and valid licensure in Arizona and clinical experience will be considered for this position. A background in hospital-based utilization management or home care concurrent review is preferred; field-based work is a plus. Basic computer proficiency is also necessary.
