At BIDMC, you'll find new challenges are always welcome, and talent like yours is too.  Perioperative Care OR West Nurses in this Operating Room care for patients in a wide variety of surgical subspecialties, including trauma, transplant (liver, kidney, and pancreas), cardiac, thoracic, minimally invasive surgery, bariatric, orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular and endovascular, reconstructive plastic surgery and more. CC5 West campus has17 rooms. Nurses are offered the opportunity to work flexible schedules and to care for patient populations in subspecialties of their choice OR East Nurses in this Operating Room care for patients in a wide variety of surgical subspecialties, including General surgery, minimally invasive surgery, orthopedics, sports medicine, podiatry, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. There are 2 operating room locations on the east campus: Feldberg 3 has 11 rooms and Shapiro 3 has 10 rooms (including a cystoscopy suite). Nurses are offered the opportunity to work flexible schedules and to care for patient populations in subspecialties of their choice. Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements Clinical Nurse II  1  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing  2. Current registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered nurse  3. AHA Basic Life Support Certification4. At least one year experience as a registered nurse in an operating room setting  5.
