Identifying opportunities and recommending solutions that increase automation. Resolving system deficiencies and enhancing reporting to meet and exceed business requirements. Researching and resolving issues that are configuration-related in an accurate and timely manner. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of configuration rules and all software that is utilized in the claim adjudication process. Collaborating with internal staff to communicate system functionality. Assisting with ad-hoc projects related to improving claims processing/adjudication.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required. 2 — 5 years experience using MS Office (Word, Excel & Access) is required. 2 — 5 years experience using Visual Basic programming required. 2 — 5 years experience building data bases and analyzing data required. 2 — 5 years experience with SQL and query required. Experience using ClaimFacts background is preferred. Background experience in reporting, reporting systems and analysis is strongly preferred. A background working specifically with hospital or medical claims is helpful. Working knowledge of payment methodology and medical coding is desired.
