Ophthalmic Clinical Specialist

Status:  Full Time, Employee  We are seeking an Ophthalmic Clinical Specialist to assess all patients who are referred to an Ophthalmologist for a complete eye examination. He/She will provide Orthoptic  treatment under the direction of an Ophthalmologist. Treatment involves the management of sensory and motor disorders such as amblyopia, strabismus, heterophoria, convergence insufficiency, and anomalies of accommodation. The Specialist will provide safe and effective patient care, perform pre-assessment of patients, explain procedures, compile reports, place orders as well as assist Ophthalmologist in the performance of minor surgical procedures in the office. Requirements: Training in orthoptics and/or Ophthalmic Technician.  Certification in Ophthalmic Assistant, Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Orthoptist preferred. Additional Information:We offer a comprehensive benefits package.  For immediate consideration please click on the apply button.
