PACS Engineer

A Leading Imagingvendor has 3 immediate openings for a PACS Service Engineer.  Territories are Dallas, TX Spartenburg, SC and San Diego, CA.  Relocation assistance provided.

 

Candidate is responsible for providing support on companies products to both hospitals and imagining centers. Specifically.. CR, Laser Imagers, x-ray, PACS.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong electronics background as well as a strong network support background. This is a home based position requiring local travel. Candidate will be self starter and able to prioritize and handle customers issues.  Must have field service experience.

 

Strong Windows experience; fundamentals troubleshooting (workstation OS (2000, XP), servers (2000, 2003), AD, domains, users, policies, experience  with both LAN and WAN.-- MCSE is mandatory
Strong IT background, strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills are required
Strong customer skills
Strong Team Player
Good time management skills
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good administrative skills excellent oral and written skills
Good Mechanical skills -- ability to follow any manual instructions to replace any hardware components

PLUS'S
Medical Industry experience
X-RAY, DICOM, CR, PACS experience
SAN experience-- (EMC or any other vendors)
Any Database knowledge and experience -- understanding and troubleshooting
