PENN Medicaid Eligibility Representative (PTE)

Rapidly expanding company, headquartered in Maryland, provides assistance in many hospitals across the nation by working with patients to establish their eligibility for public aid programs such as Medicaid, SSI, Disability, Charity, etc. The staff guides patients through the application process for these programs.

Eligibility Representatives:

Works in the hospital facility and has face-to-face contact with patients. Eligibility representatives screen patients to determine eligibility for various programs, assist in completing applications, and follow the application through the process to approval or denial for assistance. These individuals advocate for the patients.

 

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

°  Bilingual, Spanish/English preferred

°  Some exposure to Medical terminology, hospital experience preferred

°  3+ Years Pennsylvania Medicaid and/or SSI/Disability experience required

°  Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to complete several concurrent tasks.

°  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and independently

°  Familiarity with basic word processing features

°  Effective organizational skills, able to keep files and work area organized.

°  Attention to detail. Approaches work in a meticulous and thorough manner.

 

Education/Experience Minimum Requirement

Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties required for the position.
