Day Shift

 

Our client a hospital in the Bedford area whose mission is to deliver high quality healthcare with a personal touch while creating a vibrant community has asked that we search for a STAFF PHARMACIST.

 

The Staff Pharmacist contributes to therapeutic decision making by participating in patient care, particularly pharmaceutical care, providing drug information, formal and informal presentations and consultations on medication use in the hospital. He/she assures the accurate and efficient distribution of drugs and oversees the usage of pharmaceuticals within the facility. He/she also promotes rational, cost-effective use of drugs within the facility while assuring the quality of pharmaceutical care and optimal clinical outcomes.

 

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy; current MA Pharmacist license

2-3 years experience in a hospital pharmacy 

Pharm D degree and/or completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent preferred.
