PHYSICIANS, NURSE PRACTITIONERS, AND PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANTS

St. John’s Well Child and Family Center (SJWCFC) a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and school based clinics in Downtown, Northeast, and South Los Angeles, and in Compton providing primary and preventive medical, dental and mental health services.  The organization seeks to improve the prospects for a healthier transition into adulthood for thousands of children and improve the quality of life for thousands of adults in some of the poorest neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

 

We are currently seeking full-time and part-time physicians, nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants who are willing to join one of our medical teams or to float to various clinic sites as needed.

 

Job requirements:Current license in the State of CaliforniaCurrent CPRMinimum of one year of clinic experience as a licensed physician specializing in family medicine, internal medicine or obstetrics and gynecologyBoard Certification for physiciansCertification for mid-levelsBi-lingual Spanish-English (preferred, not required)

 

Potential candidates should be familiar with CHDP, Family PACT and Medi-Cal programs, experience working with underserved communities and the ability to work well with others.
