PPO Contracts Manager

Under direction of the PPO Director, this position is responsible for developing, negotiating and managing Brown & Toland's PPO contracts. Primary duties will include development and maintenance of contractual arrangements with PPO organizations and our PPO physicians. Additionally, this position is instrumental in assisting in the implementation and deployment of the PPO Administration Model.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- BA required; MA preferred plus three (3) years related experience.
- Advanced knowledge of PPO and managed care systems and market trends.
- Advanced knowledge of contract related activities which include negotiations, legal, regulatory, operational, financial and relationship management
- Two (2) years of contracting experience in responsible positions in health care management and/or contracting necessary to have acquired and demonstrated skills and abilities listed above or the approved equivalent.
- Well developed negotiating skills required.
- Skills including: oversight, facilitation, development and problem solving.  Advanced communication and analytical skills required to develop positive working relationships both internally and externally.
