PPO Developer

Description:  A nationwide provider of healthcare management services and Workers Comp solutions has an opening in its Dallas office for a PPO Developer to increase, train and maintain the number of contracted providers in its network.  The ideal candidate will have a background in PPO contracting and developing, with strong sales and negotiation skills.   Competitive salary and bonus, with medical and dental benefits package, 401K, and mileage allowance. Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree, national certification or equivalent in business or sales and marketing is required.  Must have technical knowledge of the laws, policies and procedures in defined territory.  Must have good computer and analytical skills and be proficient in MS Windows applications.  A minimum of 2 years in Provider recruitment is required.  A Master's degree in Business, Health Care, Vocational Rehabilitation, Nursing or other degrees related to a managed care organization is preferred.Essential Job Duties:1.  Responsible for growing new network and business development, including marketing and sales activities.2.  Initiate, follow-up, negotiate, and finalize contracts with providers through on-site meetings, phone calls, or mailings; and participate in the implementation process. 3.  Assist in providing appropriate responses to quality of service issues relayed from providers.  4.  Interface as needed with the company teams, to ensure appropriateness of provider information.  5.  Must demonstrate proficiency and ongoing continuing education with the Workers' Compensation rules and regulations relating to the ability to channel patients, reimbursement schedules, PPO reduction limitations, etc.6.  Provide necessary assistance to the credentialing team for all added provider contracts.  7.  Regularly visit hospitals and providers, and must be able to travel overnight and attend meetings.8.  Requires regular and consistent attendance.  Required Experience:--Minimum of 2 years in Provider recruitment--Must have or be willing to learn technical knowledge of the laws, policies and procedures in defined territory--Bachelor's degree, national certification or equivalent in business or sales and marketing--Enthusiastic attitude and strong sales orientation --Strong organizational skills--Good computer and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Windows applications.   For immediate consideration, E-mail your resume to thutchinson@wolterssearch.com .
