Required: • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Accurate and detail oriented• Diligent, hard working, self motivated and focused• Organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and not let responsibilities fall through the cracks• Experience that demonstrates your team spirit, flexibility, and a pattern of growth and advancement• Ready to take the next step in advancing your career to this level• Willing to work with biological material, follow safe laboratory procedures, and perform low-level laboratory tasks on a daily basis• 4 year engineering, biology, or pre-medical degree or 2 years technical experience in equipment troubleshooting, failure analysis, or software testing• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Windows operating environment• Ability to learn new software applications and technologies quickly and independently• Excellent manual dexterity and patience to learn surgical skills• Physically able to operate and move the robotic system• Clear vision in both eyes ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform simulated surgical procedures, including but not limited to Mitral Valve Repair, Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass, Prostatectomy, and Gastric Bypass utilizing a surgical robot• Perform functional evaluation of endoscopic instruments• Communicate and troubleshoot product non-conformances to Quality, Manufacturing, and Design Engineers• Coordinate resolution of product quality issues• Run automated software tests• Extract and analyze data from robotic systems using software applications• Perform Simulated Use testing for Engineering projects under development• Prepare test fixtures and models for testing on a daily basis• Accurately record detailed observations of non-conformances in the device history record, utilizing correct terminology, to aid in root cause analysis• Audit Product Quality Assurance phantom books• Manage laboratory, supplies, and equipment• Follow all safety and quality system requirements• Clean up after simulated surgical procedures• Work overtime as requiredThis position is responsible for: • Recording all observed product non-conformances in the device history record (DHR) • Recording testing performed in the device history record (DHR) • Following all safety and quality system requirements • Other essential job responsibilities (see above) This position has authority for: • Open Corrective Action Reports • Open, close, and reopen Process Logs • Open Variance Requests • Report a customer complaint • Enter Pass/Fail PQA test results in the DHR traveler • Sign off the PQA step of the DHR traveler with email authorization from the Quality Assurance Engineer or Supervisor
