PRESCRIPTION DRUG & HEALTH BENEFIT PLAN SALES THROUGH INSURANCE BROKERS (Specific experience required) CANDIDATE LOCATION:  We seek qualified candidates who live in the Maryland to cover Insurance Brokers in Maryland.  PURPOSE OF THIS POSTING:  On behalf of my client company, this recruiter is seeking very qualified candidates who now live in the above areas, AND who have been successfully selling health benefit plans to companys through insurance brokers.  Ideal products would be prescription drug, vision, dental and other health benefit programs.  Please read carefully and respond if you live in MD and if this description matches not only your experience but also your personal goals.  Unfortunately, no other experience will work for this position, and there are no other related openings, so I ask that you respond only if there is a perfect match.  The person we seek is a "hunter" who wants to get paid for their accomplishments, and who will be just as selective in their next career choice as my client is in hiring.   This is an urgent search.  My client is ready to interview.  Please review carefully and respond ASAP with your resume and brief cover letter that outlines your health benefit sales experience. I will contact those who are on target. JOB DESCRIPTION:  This job is selling prescription/pharmacy health benefits plans to and working with insurance brokers in the territory.  You will help brokers sell to their clients in the private and public sector groups.  My client is experiencing dynamic growth because they have a very superior product that is in high demand.  These positions represent expansion of sales.   QUALIFICATIONS: Our candidate lives in the above areas and is a HUNTER who has experience selling health benefit plans including pharmacy plans, AND who has good contacts now with these insurance brokers who offer these plans or who may become new brokers for this. WHAT TYPES OF COMPANIES WILL OUR IDEAL CANDIDATES BE WITH NOW?  We seek experienced pharmacy health benefits sales experience from candidates who are now with the major insurance and/or managed care companies who offer similar health benefit plans.  This experience is a MUST HAVE. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:  5+ years related successful sales experience with verifiable track record of success. Experience with prescription/pharmacy benefit plans. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Highly motivated, excellent organization skills, self starter who can work remote or part of team. Exceptional presentation, written and verbal skills. Strong abilities to help design presale strategies and proposals.  Can obtain necessary licenses. Good driving record. Other key words: knowledge of underwriting, operations, insurance.
