PROJECT LEADER FOR MEDICAL DEVICE DEVELOPMENT

Fresenius Medical Care seeks experienced project leader with solid engineering background to oversee development of medical devices from research phase to clinical trials and market introduction. Position is based in Boston-area Corporate Research Lab.

Project Leader will oversee day-to-day work of diverse development team, with tasks including scheduling, budget, personnel management, vendor management, clinical trial management. Strong technical background in medical devices and mass transport is needed for making key development decisions. Communication skills are needed for working with technical staff, clinical study team, management, and vendors.

MS or Ph D in Engineering or Related Discipline
Minimum 8 years experience in medical device research & development
Knowledge of GLP, GMP, IDE, and 510k
Experience in controlled drug delivery or other membrane-based devices a plus. Excellent communication skills
