We are currently seeking a MANAGER OF PROVIDER AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS
who is interested in expanding skills while working for a company that gives back to the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and overall management of the Office of Provider and Community Relations. In addition, this position is responsible for establishing goals and accountabilities for department staff. This position will serve as the interface between the provider and community liaisons and the other operational departments of the company. This position will also have responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with management staff of the various hospital and facility systems and will provide support in the relationships developed by liaison staff in other regions. This position directly supervises staff in the Department.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing or related field; Master’s degree preferred.ability to work independently and set priorities;knowledge of managed care, contracting and Provider Network Services;must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;must have working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs, preferably Microsoft Office.
Experience:Five years of advanced management, including direct supervision of staff, three of which must be healthcare related;program development; training and education for providers;prior work with Medicaid preferred; public speaking;valid Colorado driver's license.
