PURCHASING/PROCUREMENT

PURCHASING/PROCUREMENT We are seeking Administrative Assistant support staff. Must have worked within a Purchasing division.  Here are the details:

1. Issue purchase orders for goods, services and/or equipment for Network

2. Access Oracle Procurement Purchase Order & Auto Create Portals to obtain daily work load

3. Create Purchase Orders utilizing Auto Create for non-catalog purchases

4. Issue Purchase Order from Purchase Order Summary

5. Query Purchase Orders utilizing Oracle Purchasing Applications


6. Perform the following Task in Oracle, when required:

§ Blanket Purchase Agreement

§ Sourcing Rules

§ Blanket Release

§ Manual Releases

7. Export work load to Excel to determine the need for competitive bidding

8. Verify need for competitive bidding based on cumulative balance over $5,000

9. Verify pricing from Suppliers, if required

10.Obtain Certificate of Insurance, if required

11.Obtain updated quotes, if required

12.Scan purchasing related documents


Requirements:

BA/BS DEGREE REQUIRED 
EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
COMPUTER SAVVY IN OFFICE SUITE: EXCEL,WORD. Knowledge of Oracle helpful.
