Valley Hope is an association of healthcare facilities for the treatment of alcoholism and other drug addictions. We operate 25 residential and outpatient treatment centers in seven states, including Colorado, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Arizona. Valley Hope is a treatment program based on the disease concept of the 12 Steps & 12 Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.  We currently have an opening for a part time secretary at our Grapevine Valley Hope residential facility.

Grapevine Valley Hope is nestled on an eight-acre campus that is conveniently located midway between Dallas and Fort Worth, just minutes from the DFW Airport. The 68-bed, 54,000 square foot state of the art facility provides the relaxed atmosphere of the country with the convenience of a metropolitan area.  The facility is JCAHO accredited and offers subacute detox, residential, day or partial care, family and continuing care services.

Desired:

* Individual with Associates Degree in business administration or the social sciences. 

Required:

 

* High school diploma or GED.

* Motivated individual must possess good interpersonal skills, excellent telephone skills, and have the ability to work well in an office environment.

* Minimum of 50 wpm typing speed is required. 

* Good understanding of basic grammar and writing mechanic skills is also expected. 

* Experience with computer word processing software and spreadsheet software is helpful.
