Patient Account Rep Float

Swedish Physicians seeks an experienced Patient Accounts Rep/Patient Services Rep to join our float pool. This position is responsible for working in a variety of clinics located primarily in Seattle. Mileage is reimbursed.

 

Responsibilities:  ensure a high level of customer service is maintained in the areas of patient accounts including billing, collections, billing adjustments, credit, and third-party payments; maintain timely bookkeeping and accounting processes, including charge entry, interpret and communicate credit policies and procedures. In addition this position is responsible for working at the front desk of a clinic as needed. Duties at the front desk include: greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and taking copays.

 

Requires: excellent customer service skills, general knowledge of bookkeeping, collection procedures and principles, basic accounting, and familiarity with insurance industry practices; medical terminology; strong computer and 10-key skills; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; familiarity with managed care principles and medical codes preferred; minimum one to two years related work experience in a clinic setting.

 

This is a full-time position with benefits! No weekends, holidays or nights!
