Patient Care Coordinator

JOB TITLE:  Patient Coordinator

 

REPORTS TO:  Administrator

 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

 

Coordinates patient services under the direction of administrator.  Responsibilities include checking patients in and out, answering in-coming telephone calls, telephone triage, updating charts, scheduling, data entry, and filing.  Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the  Petroff Center’s mission and philosophy.

 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

 

Between patients, prospects, staff and physicians.

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

 

1.  High school degree or equivalent.

2.  Formal education in health care field preferred.

3.  Minimum two years experience working in a health care environment preferred.

4.  Proficient knowledge and experience with Windows and Microsoft Office required.

7. Medical receptionist experience necessary
