Patient Service Representative, CMMC

Job Details:
The Patient Services Representative, CMMC (PSR) is responsible for performing diversified clerical tasks. Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills on behalf of the Central Maine Medical Center. Responsibilities include: developing and maintaining data collection for the practice and assisting in delivering the goals and services of CMMC. Must be a graduate of high school and have demonstrated clerical and computer skills. Must be able to do transcriptions. Prior medical office, customer service experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Requirements: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred. Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred. Completion of medical terminology course preferred. Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge, Data Entry. Keyboard skills: 35 - 40 wpm
