Physician Payroll Specialist - UW Physicians

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor of Finance, the Physician Payroll Specialist has principal responsibility for the coordination, calculation, preparation and distribution of physician payroll, and the maintenance of accurate physician files.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

-Community college level accounting courses or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.

 

-2-3 years experience with payroll and accounting. 2-3 years of experience with payroll and payroll reporting applications - ADP Enterprise preferred and ReportSmith a plus.

 

-Advanced experience with word processing applications and spreadsheets Accurate and detail oriented.  High level of accuracy with a focus on continuous improvement.

 

-10-key by touch required. -Experience in Windows NT or 95.

 

-Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey a positive and professional image in person, on the telephone and in correspondence
