Job Description:Plans and carries out medical care program for children from birth through adolescence to aid in mental and physical growth and development: Examines patient to determine presence of disease and to establish preventive health practices. Determines nature and extent to disease or injury, prescribes and administers medications and immunizations, and performs variety of medical duties.

Education:A pediatrician at Newport pediatrics and Adolescents Medicine, PLLC must have completed an approved U.S. pediatrics residency and mush be Board Certified, or if not Board certified, eligible to sit for the next available exam.

Licensure and other requirements:Possession of an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Vermont. Full active staff privileges at North Country Hospital, Newport Vermont. Acceptance for unrestricted malpractice coverage by the liability carrier for Newport Pediatrics. Current PALS certification.
