Job Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Medical/Health Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Mission and Contribution of this position: Description General Summary Operates ultrasound equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass the specialty areas of Peripheral Vascular Imaging. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, documentation of findings, under the direct supervision of the supervisor and/or Non-Invasive Cardiology Manager. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and ensures that patient safety is not jeopardized.Minimum Job Qualifications Minimum Education: Other Preferred Education: Two Year Degree Other Education: Successful completion of a two-year health related program in a related medical field which include seminar course training in one of the following: vascular ultrasound.
